The world is not what it used to be. In the wake of the second global pandemic, a virus codenamed C-23 that proved even more devastating than COVID-19, society was left fractured. Governments struggled to maintain control, and in America, the assassination of The President during his second term sent the nation spiraling into chaos. Protests turned to riots. Quarantine zones were violently dismantled as the National Guard was overwhelmed, and what remained of law and order crumbled under the weight of fear, corruption, and desperation.
Now, in the shattered streets of Seattle, the people no longer believe in heroes. The days of caped icons and masked crusaders are over. What good is a symbol of hope when the people can barely survive? The city is filled with the forgotten, the lost, and the desperate—those left behind by a system that collapsed under its own weight. But among them, there are fighters, those who refuse to be swallowed by the darkness. They don’t wear capes. They don’t follow the rules. They aren’t shining examples of justice.
They are The Vvaywards. A group of outcasts, rebels, and survivors who have taken it upon themselves to bring order to a world in ruin. Not by following laws that no longer serve the people, but by creating their own code of justice, one written in the blood and sweat of the streets. Some call them vigilantes. Others call them criminals. But the people who have nowhere else to turn? They call them saviors.
Each member of the Vvaywards is damaged, haunted, or searching for purpose in a world that no longer makes sense. Some have abilities, gifts that set them apart from ordinary people. Others have nothing but willpower, fists, and firepower to make their stand. But together, they are something more, a force that challenges the corruption infecting what remains of Seattle, standing against those who exploit the broken system for their own gain.
But the road ahead is uncertain. With enemies lurking in the shadows and a government that would rather erase them than acknowledge them, The Vvaywards must prove that even in the darkest of times, there is still a fight worth having.
They don’t ask for recognition.
They don’t seek praise.
They make no promises, except one: they will not abandon you.
Don’t call them superheroes.
Don’t call them saviors.
Call them The Vvaywards.
