welcome to the City of Rain...Seattle about 10 years from now. After Covid-19 a new more aggressive strain descended upon the American people in the wake of the President's assassination during his second term. As the virus spread and many lives were lost not only by this disease but by the race and gender riots that followed.
The fate of America seemed uncertain. The armed forces and CDC formed a joint coalition in an attempt to control quarantine zones and stop the violence.
Though for a time things seemed to be getting better, the leaders of men began a secret project called Valiant. Its goal was to perfect already existing cryogenic technology to suspend human beings in stasis should another outbreak warrant an extinction level threat.
The project using a new highly advanced brain implant codenamed The 54 Chip powered by a classified element not present on the periodic table called red 76 made Valiant a reality.
But there were unexpected violent and terrible side effects that came to those exposed to the cryostasis process...
Test subjects upon revival exhibited violent, aggressive and suicidal behaviors upon revival
Doctor V, after researching these effects concluded that the canidates selected for project Valiant had their brainwave patterns changed due to this process.
The project was almost scrapped.....Until Doctor V through studying these same brainwave patterns in certain mentally ill patients with high IQs theorized that under cryostasis exposure could hold the key to making Project Valiant a success....
This is where our story begins...Gospel Hill Sanitorium...where after 5 years of searching Doctor V has found 4 residents of this institution suitable...for the final test phase of Project Valiant
